The Next Generation Series-VI is a collaborative project between hand werk and init-i2: Association for New Music and Contemporary Art, based in İzmir, Turkey. In several project phases starting in July 2025, four new works by selected young composers were developed together with the ensemble. The resulting compositions were performed and presented at the İzmir New Music Days-VI on October 12, 2025. In January 2026, the Turkish composers will come to Essen. They will present their works in workshops and a concert with us at Folkwang University of the Arts.
