In this collaborative concert with musicians from the world of improvised music, we welcome duo Nina Garcia (electric guitar) and Camille Émaille (drums). A percussive guitar, feedback percussion: together, the two French women create music that is concise, engaging, and profound. The improvisations are contrasted with three different styles of written music by Vladimir Guicheff Bogacz, Katherine Balch and Steffen Krebber.

In January 2026, four composers came from Turkey to Germany. They presented their new works in workshops and a concert with us at Folkwang University of the Arts which we rehearsed and premiered in October 2025.
The Next Generation Series-VI is a collaborative project between hand werk and init-i2: Association for New Music and Contemporary Art, based in İzmir, Turkey as well as Folkwang University of Arts, Essen.
With music by Ceren Ünver, Azra Kaya, Emir Ekberzade and Kaan Selcuk.
