#Minutenstreik
_Gemeinsam gegen den Kulturkahlschlag
Der #minutenstreik ist ein bundesweiter symbolischer Protest gegen die existenzbedrohenden Kürzungen im Kulturbereich. Jede Kulturveranstaltung, Aufführung und Ausstellung wird für eine Minute plötzlich unterbrochen, so auch unser Konzert am 29.1. in Köln.
Gemeinsam zeigen wir, was verloren geht, wenn wir nicht handeln. Unterbrechen wir die Kürzungswelle – für eine Zukunft, in der Kunst und Kultur ihren essenziellen Platz behalten!

This concert is dedicated to Zen Buddhism and spirituality. Instrumental improvisations by Darius Heid, Cologne pianist and composer in the genre of “modern creative” and himself an active Zen practitioner, meet notated chamber music by hand werk.
With music by Helena Canovas, Morton Feldman and Saad Haddad.

_hand werk in Korea and Japan
On November 1st and 2nd, hand werk was guest at the Jeju International Contemporary Music Festival on Jeju Island in South Korea. Afterwards, we continued our travel to Japan: on November 5, we played in Tokyo, invited by the Cabinet of Curiosities.
